Everything you need to get started with AnyFrame.

Getting Started

When you first launch AnyFrame, the app will ask for Screen Recording permission. This is required to display screen content in the viewport. Grant the permission in System Settings, and the app will start automatically.

How to Use AnyFrame for Screen Sharing

1. Launch AnyFrame and position the viewport over the screen area you want to share.
2. In your video call (Teams, Zoom, etc.), choose "Share Window" and select AnyFrame.
3. Your audience sees only what's inside the AnyFrame frame.
4. Enable click-through mode (⌥⌘P) to keep working normally while sharing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I share just part of my screen in Teams or Zoom?
Position the AnyFrame viewport over the area you want to share. Then in your video call, use "Share Window" and pick the AnyFrame window. Your call participants will only see the framed region.
How do I grant Screen Recording permission?
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording and toggle AnyFrame on. You may need to restart the app after granting permission.
What is click-through mode?
Click-through mode lets your mouse clicks pass through the viewport window to the apps behind it. This means you can interact with content underneath without moving the viewport. Toggle it with ⌥⌘P.
How do I save a preset?
Position and resize the viewport to your desired frame. Then click the save button in the control bar (or use the menu bar: AnyFrame → Save Current Position). Give your preset a name, and it will appear in the control bar and menu for instant recall.
Where did the control bar go?
The control bar has three visibility modes: Always Visible, Auto-Hide, and Hidden. If it disappeared, press ⌥⌘B to toggle it back. You can also change the mode from the menu bar icon.
Does AnyFrame record my screen?
No. AnyFrame displays screen content in real-time within the viewport but never records, stores, or transmits anything. See our Privacy Policy for details.
What are the keyboard shortcuts?
⌥⌘P Toggle click-through
⌥⌘R Start/restart capture
⌥⌘B Toggle control bar
